Get in the Swing…
John Cook captured his second win of the 2011 Champions Tour season at the Tampa Bay Pro-Am with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff with Jay Don Blake. This was the third playoff in the events 24 year history.
Amateur Art Ensley and professional playing partner Jay Don Blake took the pro-am portion of the event.

The Tampa Bay Pro-Am Foundation, Inc. has built a legacy of giving back significantly to the community. In the past twenty-four years, the tournament has contributed over $9 million to area charities. The 2011 events recipients were the Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (with contributions going to the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative at University of South Florida). With the accessibility of our professionals and celebrities, we have shown the entire country how much fun this event can be. Celebrities who participated in the 2011 event included Ronde' Barber, Derrick Brooks, Fred McGriff, Craig T. Nelson, John and Lisa O'Hurley, Stone Phillips, Joe Don Rooney, Sterling Sharpe, Emmitt Smith, and Joe Theismann. Other notable past celebrities include Bill Murray, Mark Wahlberg, Kevin Costner, George Lopez, Huey Lewis, Carson Daly, and Jerry Rice.
